Best Bodybuilding Supplements For Hardgainers
|
|
Written by: Vince_DelMonte
Listen closely, hardgainers. I'm just like you so you're not alone. In fact, the majority of bodybuilders are in the "sucky-genetics" category - which is exactly why you got involved in bodybuilding in the first place. You're tired of being scrawny and getting blank stares from people when you tell them you body build. You don't blame them because you find it (just as) hard to believe that you bust your butt in the gym 5 days a week and have little to show.

"It's 5:00 A.M. already? Who practices at this time?" Well, for some reason or another, rowers do. And we know this because we work with several rowing teams here in Ontario. And it is not only rowers that greet the sun head on. We also know quite a few bodybuilders who have lives outside the gym. Many of them rise and shine while we're still in bed dreaming about the girl from the Horny Goat Weed ad.

The saying says, "if you fail to prepare, you are preparing to fail", and the same holds true for each and every one of your workouts. Every session in the gym should be treated as a battle, and just like any other battle in life you must enter it with proper mental and physical readiness.

4-Dione...5-Dione...Nor 4-Diol...Nor 4-Dione...4-Diol...Frustrating isn't it? If you are anything like I am, you're probably FED UP with all the conflicting opinions about which prohormones are actually effective, when to take them, and how to take them. For many people, perhaps going with a thoroughly-tested blend of prohormones is one answer. Another answer is to educate oneself as to what each one does in the body. And it is not just prohormones that are confusing, its most of the supplements on the market today. Should I take a loading dose or should I take my supplements with grape juice, coffee, hot or cool water, with little tingly bubbles or should I take them hanging upside down in a dark closet for maximum absorption.

Many people are under the impression that cellulite is somehow completely different than regular fat and that it requires some type of special or extreme intervention to get rid of it. The truth is, cellulite is simply regular body fat that has taken on a lumpy, dimpled, or "orange peel" appearance due to the presence of connective tissue strands (septae) within the fat deposits.

You think "roid rage" is bad? Try taking away a habitual coffee drinker's morning java, then see what happens! Trust me, I've seen it and it ain't pretty. It's estimated that 80% of the world's adult population consumes caffeine in one form or another, the most common source being coffee. It's also estimated that the average daily intake of caffeine in North America is 300mg/day. There's no disputing the human love affair with caffeine, especially in the form of coffee and soft drinks.

Irvingia gabonensis is the latest weight loss supplement to hit the marketplace, saturate the internet with advertisements, ignite forum discussions and flood my email inbox with questions. In the weight loss marketplace, this may gain the dubious distinction of becoming the next hoodia or acai (scam), but I'll just present the facts, make my case and then let you judge for yourself.

A few years back a bunch of studies supported the concept that both the timing and type of carbohydrate athletes used could have positive effects for both aerobic and anaerobic oriented athletes. Since then there has been a rush to find the "best" pre and post workout carb source. As is typical for the bodybuilding/fitness industry, a new "miracle" carb source burst onto the market almost monthly promising muscle growth second only to an Anadrol* enema, but I digress...
