The “PBW Championships” Returns to Tampa!
For the 3rd straight year, “Pro Bodybuilding Weekly” radio in conjunction with Florida-based promoter Tim Gardner will be presenting a BIG weekend on the IFBB Pro calendar. The “PBW Championships” (July 16-17) will feature a Mens Open Pro event along with an Under 202 division, plus a full menu of womens competition, including Womens Pro Bodybuilding as well as a Pro Bikini contest. The hosting duo of Dan & Bob will be back calling the action from their “on-stage” broadcast booth at the Tampa Center for the Performing Arts located in the beautiful Tampa Bay area on Florida’s West Coast.

Contraception for woman has been available for decades, and comes in quite a few forms – the pill, the patch, and the coil to name a few. And while some moronic, foolish men who are of the belief that contraception “is her problem”, there has been discussion of a male contraceptive pill for some time now. While it is always sensible to use a condom to avoid contracting any STIs, these, or the more extreme vasectomy, have been the only realistic contraceptives for men. There is a jab contraceptive for men undergoing phase III clinical trials in India, called “RISUG”, but this does not appear to be side effect-free. Scientists in Israel have discovered a pill that may have this contraceptive effect also, seemingly without any side effect. While the pill will only last three months compared to the jab’s estimated ten years, this still seems like a decent trade off if the pill does not come with unwanted sides.

Dennis Wolf Has More To Lose Than To Gain at the Olympia

For a guy who was on many people’s short list to unseat Jay Cutler at the 2008 Mr. Olympia, Dennis Wolf sure has come down more than a few notches. That year, he finished fourth in a decision that many felt he didn’t even deserve. He announced that same evening that he was going to compete in the next Arnold Classic but an injury prevented him from doing that.
With a full year between contests, Wolf showed up at the ’09 Olympia extremely off and did not even place. That was a total shock to not only his minions but Wolf himself. But did the big German shoot up the list too fast, only to come back to reality?
