IFBB Professional bodybuilder, Jason Arntz, given five year suspended sentence for steroids
A South Brunswick bodybuilder received a five-year suspended prison sentence today for supplying a pill press to a steroid-manufacturing and distribution ring in the Hanovers and Florham Park in Morris County in 2007.
Jason Arntz, 38, was among 16 people arrested in March 2007 after a four-month probe centering on co-defendants Anthony Cuppari and his best friend, Michael Dente, both bodybuilders of East Hanover.
The scheme involved Dente manufacturing anabolic steroids in his basement, authorities have said. Arntz pleaded guilty in January to third-degree conspiracy to manufacture steroids, by supplying a pill press to Dente knowing he would use the machine to make capsules of the muscle-enhancing drug.

TruePeptides.com pulling advertising from Internet, site taken down
by Anthony Roberts
TruePeptides.com is under the impression that their business is being watched by the Feds, and as a result, have opted to pull their banners and advertising off numerous sites, and have taken their website down as well. I don’t know if they’ve been arrested or busted, but with the PurePeptides.com bust being within the last half year, and with them advertising on many of the same sites, it’s certainly possible.
They seem to have been using a bi-state business model, involving both New Jersey and Florida. The recently busted peptide site, PurePeptides.com was similarly owned by a man who had lived in both of those states. I am currently unsure if they were connected in any way other than these coincidences, but it seems likely that they were/are.

Gatorade GNC Partnership
by Scott Welch
Gatorade which is a division of PepsiCo, is launching G Series Pro — a new variant of its recently launched G Series through a distribution alliance with GNC. I heard of this news while I was at The Arnold Classic promoting my new bodybuilding magazine MUSCLE INSIDER. G Series Pro was originally developed by The Gatorade Sports Science Institute to meet the needs of professional and aspiring professional athletes. Until now, G Series Pro has only been available in locker rooms and specialized training facilities. Beginning May 1 it will be available to a broader segment of elite athletes. The range will be distributed initially through an exclusive co-marketing and co-distribution collaboration with GNC and its network of more than 5500 outlets nationwide.
