Leucine – A protein that athletes rightly turn their nose up at – because it doesn’t provide the optimal amino acids for muscle building – becomes a lot more interesting if you add leucine to it. Nutritionists at the University of Illinois wrote in Nutrition & Metabolism about the animal study they performed in which wheat protein became as anabolic as whey after leucine was added to it.
Leucine is an interesting amino acid. Muscle cells ‘see’ leucine and, depending on the concentration of leucine they ‘see’, they decide how hard their anabolic machinery needs to work. As a result the anabolic stimulus of a meal increases if you ingest a couple of grams of leucine with it. Studies have estimated that the growth stimulus increases by 16 percent.

Boldenone, particularly Boldenone Undecyclenate, is a drug which has procured devoted advocates on both sides of the fence. Opinions run strong regarding the effectiveness of this steroid, with the unimpressed often chastising it as worthless and its ardent supporters touting it as indispensible. Perhaps more than any other steroid, there is a clear rift between acceptance and rejection and while variances in personal response combined with its slow-acting nature no doubt play a role in this divide, I am convinced that the primary reason for such conflicting views is due to suboptimal dosing practices among many of its users.

The mere word cholesterol gives many goose bumps. We have been indoctrinated since the well-known Framingham Studies that the higher the blood cholesterol level, the higher the risk of heart disease 1-3. However, much has been discovered in medical research since then. Today there is compelling evidence showing that strict reliance on the traditional cholesterol test that is routinely run in the clinic can falsely tell you and your doctor that you’re fine, even if you aren’t. Here you will find out what to look for…

Nandrolone Decanoate, affectionately known as “Deca” in the bodybuilding community, is one of the most popular steroids ever produced. For decades this drug enjoyed considerable success on the blackmarket and within the pharmaceutical industry, being used for both muscle-building and various clinical applications. Only in recent years has the phenylpropionate ester of Nandrolone (NPP for short) started to take up residence in the cycles of bodybuilder’s and at this point in time, a case can be made that NPP has surpassed Deca in popularity. While both compounds utilize the same base drug in their design, there are distinct advantages afforded to NPP over the more traditional Deca, but before we explore these differences let’s take a minute to discuss their similarities and history.

The Notion of professional Bodybuilding would ever be accepted as an Olympic event… Seriously?
That some day IFBB Pros would some how be competing in the Olympics…seriously? The IOC (International Olympic Committee) would suddenly have a total disregard for the law…Seriously? Are you kidding me?
Let me point out a few things about professional bodybuilding and the fitness industry in general. If you’re an IFBB professional Bodybuilder, you are immersed in and surrounded by illegal activity, period! You see, using anabolic steroids, HGH, EPO and Plasma expanders without a prescription is a felony. If you purchase, trade, transport or sell anabolic steroids, HGH, EPO, and plasma expanders, you’re breaking the law all felonies.

Over the years I’ve done quite a bit of research on metabolic typing and I’d like to talk a little bit about this concept. Metabolic typing is the term for a form of nutritional management and diet based upon the concept that people have unique metabolisms, and therefore the nutrients and their balance which are appropriate for one person may be inappropriate for a second, and detrimental for a third.
A principle of metabolic typing is that different populations of people and their respective genetic pools have developed over time, different types of metabolism. For example, some people oxidize carbohydrates quickly and others oxidize them slowly. Some people have a sympathetic nervous system which is more (or less) reactive than their parasympathetic system, and so on. Because of this, different nutrients, eating patterns, and supplementary trace elements will often have different effects for different people.
